Spirit of America Award
Green
Family Farms sponsors the Spirit of America Award to honor those
individuals who lost their lives on 9-11-01. This award is meant to
carry on the spirit of those individuals who gave their lives for
our country and for those individuals who carry on that spirit in
their everyday lives. A judge was asked to pick exhibitors that
showed the characteristics of what we uphold as strong character
traits. These traits include sportsmanship, hard work, and
individual pride. Winners of this award have their name added to a
sign that hangs in the livestock show arena as a reminder to future
generations that we do remember 9-11-01, and that we only have to
look around us to find individuals who make America great.
