AJCA High Point Awards

Calico Rock FFA Students Earn State Honors
 

The Calico Rock FFA Show Team was well represented at the 2005 Arkansas Cattlemen’s Convention in Little Rock.
 

The Arkansas Junior Cattlemen’s Association (AJCA) honored the top showmen in the state at the annual AJCA Banquet held at the Double tree hotel in November.
 

Lara Moore, a senior, received High Point Simmental honors and a custom made belt buckle for her accomplishment.  This is Lara’s second consecutive year to win this award.
 

Brian Sanders, a senior, was honored as the High Point Salers Exhibitor in the state and also received a custom made belt buckle.
 

Brittany Dockins campaigned her heifers to High Point Gelbvieh honors and also received a championship belt buckle.
 

Phillip Gallegos was recognized as the Reserve High Point Maine-Anjou Exhibitor and also finished in the elite Top 5 in Sr. Showmanship for the year.
 

Cortney Cragle earned a Top 5 finish in the Chianina division, and Daniel Sanders claimed a Top 5 finish in the English Commercial Heifer Division.
 

Levi Parker edged out the competition to earn a Top 5 spot in Wee Jr. Showmanship.
 

AJCA members compete in AJCA sanctioned shows all across the state of Arkansas to earn these highly competitive and prestigious awards.
